Robert Hope Jones

Grand Hall and Organ

Robert Hope-Jones is seen to be the inventor of the theatre organ of the early 20th century and built over 200 organs during his career. The organ for Battersea Town Hall was installed in 1901 and was used at a number of concerts and events held in the Grand Hall. 

After a time of not being used, the organ is now being restored. Most recently being used as part of Little Bulb's production of Orpheus.
