Allen Ginsberg

Allen Ginsberg was an beat poet who is most famous for his work 'Howl' describing life in America as well as alluding to his mother's mental health issues and the nation's ideas about sex and sexuality.

He travelled extensively and became interested in Eastern religions, taking buddist vows and following Hare Krishna. He used Hare Krishna chanting in a lot of his performances.
