A Look at Life: The Early Start Project (1977)
In response to the lack of recreation provision for young black youth in South London, Aubrey Legal-Miller founded the Early Start Project in his Balham home with eleven children.
The Early Start Project was based on the premise that theatre, dance, music and literature, when taught through a specialised therapeutic process, can serve to develop one's self-image, confidence and sense of personal worth.
